[I debated providing such personal information but decided to include this for educational comparisons… How can you relate to what fits when you don’t have a point of reference? So, I hope this helps anyone of similar stature.]

I am not a small woman by any means… I’m tall yet neither thin nor fat. Although I have been 20lbs (9kg) on either side of current weight, I am happy with how I am, which is why I will share this info. The only thing I do not list is my BMI, because, frankly, I don’t know it. It might be the one thing I would change, but probably won’t since I have been comfortable at this size for most of my life.

I will say being this tall is a great advantage when choosing a bike. My inseam does not limit me from even the tallest of motorcycles. But this does, however, limit me from fitting into most women’s gear, which is styled for more petite, European frames. Finding pants with enough length so the knee-pads sit in the right place has been impossible. Just like having a large bust sounds great in theory, but has been the greatest problem when searching for a jacket that fits or finding a sports bra worthy of off-roading.

There is such limited availability of gear compared to the wide range of body shapes out there, so, the reviews herein are the search for such things and how well that search goes as well as how well that product performs.  Please feel free to contact me about any of the gear listed or if you have suggestions for someone of my frame.
